Dispatch for owner-operators and small fleets

We find the loads, negotiate the rate and handle the broker paperwork. You keep your own authority, approve every load, and get paid by the broker.

Highway traffic at night seen from above

How the arrangement works

Four terms that stay the same on every load.

  • Your MC, your loads

Every load is booked in your company’s name under your own MC and USDOT numbers. You stay the carrier on the rate confirmation.

  • You approve every load

We send you the lane, rate, pickup and delivery details first. Nothing is booked until you say yes, and you can turn down any load.

  • The broker pays you

The broker or shipper pays you directly, or pays your factoring company. Freight money never passes through us.

  • You pay our fee

After a load delivers, we invoice you our dispatch fee. There is no fee on loads you turn down.

From sign-up to first load

Nothing is booked until the agreement is signed and you approve the load.

  1. Send your carrier details

Company, MC and USDOT numbers, truck type, home base, the lanes you want and your minimum rate.

  2. Setup call

We confirm your authority and insurance, go over the dispatch agreement and the fee, and collect the documents brokers ask for.

  3. Load offers

We find loads that fit and send them to you by phone or text. You approve or decline each one.

  4. Deliver and get paid

You haul the load and the broker pays you or your factoring company. We invoice our fee on delivered loads.

Dispatch questions

What carriers ask before signing up.

Is Allstar Hauler a broker?

No. For this service we act as your dispatcher, working on your behalf. You are the carrier on every load, the broker contracts with your company, and the broker pays you.

Do I have to take the loads you find?

No. Every load needs your approval before it is booked, and you can turn down any load. There is no fee on loads you turn down.

What does it cost?

We go over the fee on your setup call. It is charged only on loads you approve and deliver, and it is written into the dispatch agreement before we book anything.

I use a factoring company. Does that work?

Yes. We send your notice of assignment with your carrier packet so brokers pay your factoring company directly.

My MC number is still pending. Can I sign up?

Yes. Send your details now with your USDOT number and leave the MC field blank. Most brokers will not load a carrier until its authority is active, so we start booking once it is.

What trucks do you dispatch?

Dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, step decks, hotshots, power only, box trucks and cargo vans. Tell us about anything else in the notes.
